Bathrooms – Project Two

This generous size room allowed for a bath, shower enclosure and a vanity unit with the toilet in a separate room next door. The brief was for a larger shower enclosure, a vanity unit for storage and to keep the existing bath and toilet. We began by creating a cover for the existing bath to protect it while we removed the existing shower enclosure, basin and tiles. We also carefully removed the toilet and removed the tiles in this room as well. After we disposed of all the rubbish our engineers install the slimline shower tray as low as possible to make it easy to access.

After the tiles had been removed the walls were in a very poor condition, we made up the walls and skimmed them. The installation team then proceeded with the first fix of the pipe work for the basin and shower. The existing radiator was removed so the wall could be tiled behind it and the bath taps were removed. The client wanted to keep their existing bath and just renew the taps and waste.

After the tiling had been completed our engineers commenced with the second fix. We reinstalled the existing toilet and a new toilet roll holder. In the bathroom we install the shower enclosure and shower with new chrome pipe feeds. The bath panel to match the vanity and radiator where installed followed by the, vanity unit and mirror.  To finish the room we cleaned down and sealed to leave an easy to use, light and modern bathroom.
